SUPERMAX™ Universal Membrane Adhesive

SUPERMAX™ Universal Membrane Adhesive is a clear transparent, 100% acrylic, universal membrane adhesive and bonding Primer Sealer. A water-based latex, high resin content formula that contains no fillers or pigments. This is a medium viscosity acrylic formula designed to provide a tenacious bond in fully adhered, single ply roofing applications. 

Universal Compatibility for TPO, EPDM & PVC Membranes

It is designed to bond the three major single-ply roofing membrane types—TPO, EPDM, and PVC—making it a versatile solution when working across different roofing systems. One adhesive can simplify material selection and help contractors avoid having to stock multiple membrane-specific adhesives.

High-Resin, 100% Acrylic Formula for a Powerful Bond

Its high-resin, water-based 100% acrylic formulation is engineered to provide excellent adhesion without fillers or pigments. The adhesive penetrates porous substrates while forming a tight bond on non-porous surfaces, helping create a strong, continuous connection between the membrane and substrate.

Flexible Bonding That Moves With the Roof or Surface

Roofing membranes naturally expand and contract as temperatures change, so a rigid adhesive can create unnecessary stress on the system. SUPERMAX™ ADHESIVE remains flexible after curing, allowing the bonded membrane to accommodate normal movement while helping maintain long-term adhesion.

Permanent or Repositionable — Built for Installation Flexibility

SUPERMAX™ ADHESIVE gives installers the flexibility to create either a permanent bond or reposition the membrane during installation before the adhesive sets. This can make membrane placement easier and provide valuable working time when achieving proper alignment is critical.

Helps Create a Tight, Moisture-Resistant Membrane Bond

The adhesive's penetrating characteristics allow it to grip porous substrates while its high resin content creates strong adhesion to non-porous surfaces. When properly installed, the tight bond between the membrane and substrate helps reduce the potential for moisture becoming trapped beneath the membrane.

Fast-Drying, Zero-VOC & Easy to Apply

SUPERMAX™ ADHESIVE is formulated for efficient installation, typically drying in approximately one hour under normal conditions. It is Zero VOC, can be applied by brush, roller, or airless sprayer, and cleans up with warm soapy water while wet—making it a convenient choice for contractors and professional installers.

Universal Membrane Adhesive features a short dry time, making it an ideal product for applications dictated by production line speed. Allows both permanent and repositionable bonding. This material remains flexible once cured, allowing for expansion and contraction of the attached roofing membrane. 

Excellent penetrating characteristics enable SUPERMAX™ Universal Membrane Adhesive to permeate into the substrate providing a permanent bond to the finish coat. On non-porous substrates, the high resin content provides excellent adhesion to the surface then forming a tight bond to the membrane.
